Largest REA Merger in Alberta History 

During special meetings at the end of November, members of Central Alberta Rural Electrification Association Ltd. (CAREA) and South Alta Rural Electrification Association Ltd. (South Alta REA) voted overwhelmingly in favour to merge to EQUS REA Ltd. (EQUS). Collectively members voted 91 per cent in favour of the merger, which makes EQUS the largest member-owned utility in Canada. READ MORE


How to “Ride the Snake”? 
The Question is the Answer 


In advising business leaders, I find that their company’s growth is directly affected by how well they ‘ride the snake’.  Jim Morrison described his peyote trips as ‘riding the snake’, singing, “If you show fear, the snake will destroy you. But if you trust the snake, he'll take us to the lake. Ride the snake  ” This is a great metaphor for how we experience consciousness in our daily lives, the low points being periods of fear and stress in response to our brains’ perceptions of the world.  READ MORE
